One afternoon we took a break and took the metro down to the Confluence Museum in Lyon. The museum is at the southern tip of Lyon where the Saône and Rhône Rivers meet.

I loved the light and bright architecture on the outside and entry areas of the museum. Then once inside, the exhibit halls are so dark!

I wanted to look at all of these birds for hours! They were so colorful!

And then these butterflies, moths and bugs! Wow! What a cool display!

The shell display was really neat, too… Les Mollusques!

We only saw a fraction of the museum in our short visit but we will definitely be back!
