While in Verona, Italy, we walked past a perfume store near our apartment often. The store was called Lebeau Enchanted Perfumery – Artistic perfumery selection by Marina Lebeau There was just this wonderful smell that came from the perfume store – day or night. One night, I stopped to just soak in the beautiful smell! Chris isn’t even a big perfume lover and he said this place smelled great! I told him the next time we walked by when they were open I was going to ask what perfume this was that we were smelling.
The perfume was by MonoLab and it was called Juicy. I decided to buy it! Apparently the base note is ambergris. I am not knowledgeable in perfume AT ALL but I decided to look up ambergris. If you want a fun Google experience, take a look yourself. Apparently the scent is one of those “love it or hate it” scents and apparently I love it!! I probably shouldn’t have given Chris the history of ambergris because when I do wear the perfume he says a few odd but true things about what I am wearing that day!
In addition to the Ambergris (also called Ambroxan), the other notes are Blackberry, Raspberry, Leather, Black pepper and Musk.
