Yesterday, we talked about Cub Creek Road in Dinosaur National Monument. And the other day, we talked about the Quarry Exhibit Hall. Today we are talking about the Colorado side of Dinosaur National Monument. Did I mention this park is REMOTE? There is a small town called Dinosaur, Colorado right outside of the Colorado entrance.
We decided to drive along Harper’s Corner Road at sunrise. We were the only car the entire time we drove along this road. It probably took us an hour to drive from the entrance of the park to a lookout point where we ended up turning around. We didn’t even make it to the end! This is a long quiet road – be sure to have snacks and gas! But wow it is beautiful and we really liked the quiet.
The wildflowers were so beautiful!
