Victorinox Dual Pro X Review

Posted on May 13, 2010September 2, 2018 by Chris

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Victorinox Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last week I received a Victorinox Dual Pro X Swiss Army Knife in the mail as a product sampling. When I first opened up the package I realized this was not the Swiss Army Knife that I was used to seeing, this knife is bigger and has securely locking blades that make it safer to use for the type of things that I would want to use a large pocket knife for.

Fortunately for me it wasn’t the only thing we received that morning, we had another package arrive by FedEx so of course I had to use my new toy to open it.

Now that my hand is in the photo you can see the size of the knife, it’s huge compared to what I think of when I imagine a Swiss Army Knife.

We headed out on our morning bike ride soon after and had breakfast by the lake. Once again I had a chance to use my Dual Pro X because I forgot to bring a knife to cut my strawberries for breakfast.

I was actually very surprised that I had so many uses for this knife so early on the first day and if it had shown up a day earlier I could have used the screwdriver to install the storm door I was working on that afternoon. With a tool this size it is easy to use it throughout your day.

When we arrived back at the house I decided to make some Chicken Jerkey for Goblin and just to see how nice the blade was I tried using the Dual Pro X. When you make Jerkey it is important to cut the meat very thin or it won’t dry evenly and to do this requires a sharp knife. The Dual Pro X worked perfectly.

I also had to try out the can opener because the one we tried to use on our camping trip last summer was useless but this one seemed much easier to use. And if I couldn’t figure it out I could always use the internet to learn how before I was out camping again and couldn’t look anything up. Fortunately for me it was pretty easy and worked very well.

This knife has been really impressive and the thing that makes it the most useful is its large size. Go to the website for the Dual Pro X and learn more about it. If you are into camping or any other outdoor activity you may want a tool like this for your adventures.

Go check out their Facebook fan page and see what others are saying. I think you will like this knife as much as I like mine.
