We woke to the sounds of raccoons chattering all around us. (Good thing our dogs don’t know what raccoons sound like, to them it was just noise outside the tent.) Warren had already hit the showers and was waiting for us to get up. We decided to try to find a place for breakfast on the way out of town so we packed up the car and hit the showers.
The showers at this campground were free and pretty clean but the odd thing was the push button that turned the water on. It was similar to the sink buttons you push for water with the auto-shut off but you could turn it to change the water temperature. It was a cool idea but the problem was that the blast of water lasted about as long as the sinks with the similar buttons. So it was important to make sure you knew where the button was incase you had soap in your eyes.
When I returned from the showers I found the dogs whining at something in the bushes. There was a stray cat watching them and they wanted to play. I can only imagine what animal will turn up to tease them next.
