We started our day by repacking the car again. It changes things a bit when you add someone and their stuff to your already established packing scheme, but we were starting to develop a new plan for the roof bag that was allowing us to pack more in it allowing us to have the same amount of stuff in the back of the car.
We headed South on I-75 and planned on stopping in Cincinnati for lunch if we could make it that long. When we started this trip we avoided Interstates completely but since leaving Prentice just about everything has been Interstate. As we pulled into Cincinati traffic came to a stop, there was an accident blocking the left two lanes and we were averaging 5 mph. Our exit was #1F and we were at exit #13, 12 miles would take us 2 hours so we bailed off at Exit #13 and took Wayne Avenue through town instead.
We have never been to Cincinati but it seems very industrial, at least the part we got to see on our little detour.
We picked up 75 again just before exit 7 and after the wreck, thank goodness for GPS and the iPhone to help get us around the traffic like we were locals! Traffic got worse as we approached downtown but nobody was going where we were going because when we took the exit and headed West on Highway 50 we were practically alone.
