A few hours later we woke up. Time to go explore the state park a bit then get some firewood. We walked along the red bird trail where many campers were fishing. None of them were very optimistic about their fishing skills because there wasn’t a single person with a bucket for their fish! We walked the entire trail and headed to the camp store to get some wood but it was closed so we headed into town to the IGA for firewood and some supplies. Then it was back to the campsite to build a fire, cook dinner and crash.
I stayed up another hour to get some work done. We had power at our site and the bugs weren’t bad so it was nice to sit by the fire and work. Before bed I made one last trip to the bathrooms. It was 1:00 am and there was a couple sitting up watching their fire. On the way back, I noticed a lady who was now up for a smoke staring intently at a Plasma TV she had set up on her picnic table. This was 1:00 am at a campground! Late night TV is not camping, it’s weird.
