The funny thing about theme park food is that they really have no competition so the food and the service is just average at best. Warren and I were waiting for our Cheeseburger/Smiley Fry baskets while Sandra ate her Chicken Ranch wrap. The burgers were taking forever, the guy in front of me told me he’d been to the park 4 times and it was the worst food he’d ever had.
“Don’t tell me that”, I said, I don’t need two bad experiences back to back. (At least it comes with smiley fries.) Standing there watching you could see the flaw in their system. They didn’t throw the burgers on the grill until they were ordered (or until you told the girl at the grill what you had paid for) so instead of just filling baskets on demand they were cooking from scratch on demand which takes much more time.
When we finally got our burgers, they weren’t that bad, maybe a little tall on bun and short on burger but otherwise OK. They smiley fries were interesting, I can’t say I would get those again if I had a choice, they were too much like a potato cake for me but they were fun.
