After this many days if getting up early I had to sleep in, I was in need of some make-up sleep. Sandra and her Dad picked up two of her Aunts and her Uncle Ernie (who took us hiking last year, I promise I will finish posting that trip soon) and headed to the Lutheran Church that her Grandfather had attended. As it turns out the pastor’s name was Sandy Johnson so they had to meet her.
We had received a hot tip from Rich yesterday about the Chequamegon Sportsman Club breakfast every 2nd Sunday, all you can eat for $6.00! I know you are jealous right now but you don’t have to be because now you know about it too. So after they came back from Church we all headed to breakfast.
This was totally my kind of club, hot breakfast and trap shooting behind the building. I almost skipped breakfast to go shoot with the local guys but it smelled so good I couldn’t resist! If I lived up here I would join this club yesterday!
After breakfast we had a driving tour of town, we got to see the old family farm, the old school house and the cemetery. It was neat to see everything and how it really hadn’t changed much from the old photos we had seen.
