We had quite an adventure so far on our trip with wrong turns, a broken windshield and a missing panel on the FJ, but Sandra’s cousins were having a much rougher trip from Ohio with their 3 kids. When they pulled into Chicago their mini van died. It needed a $6,000 transmission repair and they still had to get to Prentice and back to Ohio. They ended up selling the van and buying a new one to complete the trip. Unfortunately for them the van didn’t qualify for the Cash for Clunkers Scam that Obama put together by one lousy estimated mile per gallon. But they made the trip and were still a little stressed when they pulled in to the lakeside dinner.
We chatted for a bit with the family then headed back to our cabin to get some sleep. Duke and Goblin were in love with the freedom of Wooster Lake and the cabin, they were off leash, it was cool outside and they had tons of new sights and sounds to keep them busy.
