We checked into the Sleep Inn in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario around 9:00 pm. Apparently the restaurants in town close at 10:00 pm and the only thing in town is pizza. That’s what the girl behind the desk said at least, so we hurried to unpack the car and walked one block to find Mrs. B’s Pizza, a small brick building with a screen front door and 3 tables inside.
We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and went to walk through a nearly deserted downtown while the pizza was being made. There wasn’t much in this small town, it comes to life in the winter when everyone goes out onto the lake for ice fishing.
We ate our pizza in the hotel room and were really impressed. I know they say to do one thing and do it well, that’s how they treat their pizza around here.
Before bed we walked the dogs along the boardwalk and looked across the water to the North shores of Michigan
We were heading back into the US tomorrow and camping again for the first time in several days.
