We woke up at 8:00 am, this time the dogs were sleeping in, they didn’t want to get out of bed but we had breakfast coming in an hour and we wanted to walk them first.
As soon as we walked out of the hotel Duke was on the hunt for a squirrel except today everyone was back to work so the squirrels were not out in the same number as the past two days. We also noticed the huge number of garbage bags along the street. The garbage strike was over and everyone had put their five weeks of garbage out for pickup.
On the way back from our loop we passed a police officer at the end of a street that was closed today for sidewalk replacement. She said hello to Duke and Goblin and asked, “What kind of dogs are they?” This question is almost automatic now.
We headed back to the hotel and Sandra hit the gym while I stretched my back a little. I definitely pulled something, but at least I could now put my shoes on by myself.
You know those really dumb pictographs that show you how to properly lift things using your legs… the ones you usually ignore? … like the one above?

Yeah, don’t ignore those, you look much dumber walking hunched over with your hand on your back and a scowl on your face than you do spending a few seconds to “Team Lift” that heavy thing you need to move.
Then came breakfast, the presentation was really good but the best part was having breakfast on our balcony overlooking the city.
