We decided to walk to FedEx to send out my jobs before Monday which was a Civic Holiday in Canada. The FedEx website said it was 1.6 km away so we headed down Bloor Street to have my stuff printed and mailed. After far to may blocks and a realization that it might be another 30 blocks we turned back, it was a better idea to drive this in the morning.
On the way back we took the pups into the underground Mall beneath the Bay Building. Duke was excited to walk through the food court even if it was closed and Goblin was happy to window shop. All I could think was that it was that it reminded me of the shops beneath the World Trade Center in New York prior to 9-11 and I hoped nothing like that ever happened here.
We headed out of the mall and toward an off leash dog park that the hotel had recommended. It was late at night so we didn’t expect many people but at least we would see the park. When we got there it just seemed a little spooky. There were some dark areas of the park that made me nervous and the park had hours for dogs off leash so that meant the dog area was not fenced. Time to head back, our hour long walk would have to be enough.
When we got back to the hotel we went to the business center to print my stuff from the jump drive I had planned to use at FedEx. I was hoping to do everything at once but this was a better option because at least everything was ready to mail out.
Man what a full day that was. I can’t believe we’ve added another day that should be just as full. We will have to come back to the city of Toronto in the future to see anything we may have to miss tomorrow. Hopefully my back will stop hurting by tomorrow as well.
