Our new plan was set, so we headed downstairs to find some dinner. Yorkville is a really great place to stay, everything you need is within walking distance. We tried a few restaurants but hey all wanted the dogs on the outside of their fence which meant our big dogs would block the half of the sidewalk that the restaurant hadn’t already fenced off. It just wasn’t going to work, then we found Michelle’s Brasserie where the dogs could be on the outside of the fence and be out of the traffic.
The menu was great! We started with some tapas (bacon wrapped dates, brie with banana honey, and escargot) then ordered three more (pork ribs with strawberry glaze, hummus and fritas) Everything was fantastic!
Our server was awesome too, she brought a bowl of water for the dogs and gave them some treats. She also gave us some insight into the winters in Toronto, apparently the city can be a very different place in the winter time.
