Finally around 11:00 pm we arrived at the Four Seasons in the Yorktown area of Toronto. We picked the Four Seasons because every other hotel wanted $100/night per dog plus a cleaning fee, on top of the room rate. Out of all of the hotels we tried the Four Seasons didn’t charge a pet fee and because of that it was the cheapest hotel we could get. (There were no campgrounds available due to a worker strike, these Canadians are very good at strikes.)
The Four Seasons is amazing at their customer service. Everyone is very personable and very helpful. The concierge immediately told me where the nearest dog park was, they parked my car without me having to remove my rain bag and they provided us with two dog beds, two bowls on a silver platter and dog treats for each dog. (Did I mention this was without a pet fee?)
Another bonus to our rooms was the low window so Duke could now watch the city without having to jump up on the window ledge. He was fascinated by the city lights. We also had a balcony, but the railing was solid concrete so the dogs couldn’t see out. The balcony could be great for breakfast or just letting a breeze into the room.
