Next we decided to find a Wi-Fi connection to work on our email for a while. Traffic on I-93 was terrible and at this point we were getting tired. This early morning stuff sucks!
The traffic cleared up at I-95 and we decided to hit the Panara Bread in Manchester, New Hampshire. That would put us less than an hour from our campsite so we could take our time.
As we headed to Bear Brook (Campground Info: page 1 page 2 page 3 page 4) we began to get out of civilization quickly. The campground is about 5 miles inside of the park and there isn’t much else there.
It looked like it had just rained as we pulled into the campground and the mosquitos were in full force. Our last two stops were fairly light on bugs, but this place was taking up the slack. Not to mention that there was rain coming and we needed to hurry to set up the tent!
The bugs were awful. This was the first time we skipped the citronella spray and went for the deep woods off. Even the dogs got a fresh coat of deet because they were getting swarmed.
We set up the tent in record dime and put the dogs in it just as the rain started. It came down hard but no leaks and no bugs in the tent.
