I haven’t posted on the blog in a while – we have been busy! Part of the busy has been putting 1000 miles on the FX. Woohoo! I really don’t feel like I’ve gone 1000 miles in her yet, but I have. I still feel like I am in a rental. I am not used to new cars at all! She drives really well. I am a little worried I could get a ticket – I will be on I-4 and wonder why everyone is going SO slow. Then I look and we are all going 80. Ooops! We started playing with the cruise control. It has this cool feature that shoots out radar to the front – and if someone is going slow ahead and you catch up, the car slows down. You can set the distance to a few settings – the farthest setting is probably too much since it leaves a big gap, but the fact that it slows you down is great! It feels like we are on autopilot.
