So here are some of the ideas we’ve come up with for the home movie with the puppies…
Since it’s hard to do much with scenery and this needs to be quick and low budget, we’re going to make it similar to “Breakfast Club” or “Mall Rats” where everything takes place in the house. The basic idea is to create a story with the dogs that involves what they do when we leave them alone in the house.
We are going to create their “voices” similar to that Disney movie with the two dogs and the cat that get lost in the woods, I can’t remember what it’s called (Hold on… >>> visits Google >>> … ok, I’m back) “Homeward Bound”.
We’ve got a few ideas for goofy situations in the movie and we’ve even got some video footage from this weekends “Paws in the Park” where we did some pet photos to raise money for the local SPCA. (See the photos at www.SJFoto.com, click Online Proofs then enter the username “Paws” and the password “Park”) Some of the footage is very funny on it’s own, so this should be fun.
Who knows, this could be the next “Harry Potter” or “Dora the Explorer” as far as kids stories go. But before we get to carried away, let’s see how this first movie turns out.
(Man, I hope the FedEx guy is willing to cooperate.)
