Lately we have been traveling to cooler climates and whenever someone asks how we like Orlando we always say “we really like it, but it is way too hot all the time!” Then they always respond “Oh it gets hot here, too!” and we go back and forth. But the fact is, we left Annapolis on Monday and it was about 70 degrees with the sun out in full force. I had to wear my fleece jacket because the breeze off the water was whipping around and the breeze was probably 60 degrees. I was still wearing my fleece when I boarded the plane Monday night. At 10pm we arrived in Orlando and I nearly passed out as we walked up the ramp off the plane! It was HOT! I checked the weather when we got home – it was 81. Then today it was in the 90s when the sun was out. So yes, it gets hot pretty much everywhere. But it is hot in Orlando 360 days out of the year. Can you tell we are sick of the heat already and it isn’t even June yet?
