We are back at one of our favorite places in South Dakota – Angostura!
It is really hard to get a waterfront spot at Angostura but we managed to get a waterfront spot and an end spot! We really love looking out over the lake. We had a cute family of Canadian Geese we saw often:

My favorite part of this stay was the middle of the night! We woke up every night to a family of at least four owls talking to each other. They were so loud and so close – it sounded like they were in the trees above our RV! I didn’t want to go outside and scare them and I know I wouldn’t have been able to see them anyway. So we enjoyed hearing their hoots.

And the great thing about Angostura is the short drive to Moccasin Hot Springs! And it is not too far from Wind Cave National Park.
