We walked past a Decathlon sporting goods store when we were in Italy a few weeks ago and we spotted the perfect Christmas gift for James. It was a trio of fun!
SPOILER ALERT: We used to live in Georgetown, Washington, DC and our neighborhood went nuts for Halloween. Pretty much every house had decorations. Some were over the top and so much fun and others had simple pumpkin displays. Halloween is my favorite holiday so every year while we lived in Georgetown I got out my camera and went around to take pictures of all of my favorite decorations. One year, our neighbor across the street added these two little ghosts to her handrails leading up to her front door. It looked like her son probably made them in school. They were made with tissue paper and string. James kept going nuts for these little ghosts! He was always rushing to get close to them and then he would “nibble” on them a little bit until I fussed at him. Then I realized what was going on: the base of the ghost head was made with a tennis ball! And James could smell the tennis ball underneath the tissue paper. So he was just trying to get to the toy! James loves all ball toys but lacrosse balls and tennis balls are his favorites.
