One of my clients has a gingerbread house making party every year. She has invited us in the past but we could never make it. This year we finally had a chance to go – and it was so awesome! You can RSVP for a family sized house if a group of you want to make it or you can make a smaller house on your own. It is amazing to see how creative people get with their houses – they plan out the roof, the door, etc. I noticed there was quite a commotion in the “candy room” (one of Donna’s bedrooms). They had every candy you could ever think of as well as goldfish, cereals, cookies, wafers, etc. You name it – they had it. And lots of it! They had several hundred people RSVP for two different time sessions! I also ran into another client while we were there – it is amazing how it is such a small world.

How fitting – Donna has gingerbread ornaments on her tree:

By the way – next year we are going back with a plan! We finally finished socializing and started on our house. The candy supply was lacking by then – but we still made a cute house!

My favorite house of the night – that is a Koi pond out front!
