I was really surprised to see this water fountain bottle filler at Dinosaur National Monument! We were in Arches National Park last summer, and finding water was HARD. We brought a few bottles into the park with us, but it was hot and we needed more. We finally found a water spigot at the far end of Arches in a random parking lot to refill our bottles and to give James some more water.
I really hope all of the US National Parks start getting these. They are brilliant!
I think this is something all public locations should have. When I volunteer with James at the hospital, I always stop at the water fountain at the end of our visit. It would be nice to have this to fill a bottle instead of using his bowl with the water fountain where I feel like germs from his bowl are getting into a place where people are sticking their faces to drink water.
