I have two Nars Lip Glosses that I love. Actually, I have quite a few Nars makeup products that I love. But the problem is Nars uses an odd plastic for their packaging that always seems to deteriorate quickly. The plastic outside of the gloss and blush and eyeshadows gets gunky and sticky. It is really weird! I read online from other beauty bloggers that you can dust powder on the packaging and that helps with the stickiness. But I’ve had it with the two glosses – I am ready for dupes so I can throw these away.
The one gloss I love is Nars Chihuahua:
I found a pretty similar dupe today at Sephora. It is a little more “pink” but the packaging isn’t gross and sticky gunky deteriorating plastic!

My favorite Nars lip gloss is the Rose Gitane. I am looking for a dupe but so far I haven’t had any luck. I am heading back to Sephora again soon to see what I can find that is close. I love the purple hue on this lip gloss!
The closest thing to this that I love is the Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick. Years ago they had a special edition two sided black honey gloss on one side and black honey almost lipstick on the other side. It was amazing! It was in my wedding camera bag for a year and was well used!
