I have an obsession with beauty products – makeup, hair stuff, body stuff – you name it. So I thought I would review two of my often used products.
The first one is my Kenra hair spray. I’ve had the Kenra Volume Spray for years – I use it on my hair when I wake up to preserve the volume and then I style my hair with the iron and spray again. It holds very, very well! It can be a bit much for non-hairspray users – this stuff is the super hold strongest hairspray by Kenra.
So I was running low and went to buy another bottle. I had bought a travel pack of Kenra shampoo, conditioner and the medium hold hairspray last fall and I thought it was fine to travel with. I decided this time I would go with that Kenra Perfect Medium Spray instead of the Volume Spray. I’ve noticed that my hair still has hold – but it has much more movement to it. I think I like this one a little better! Besides, it smells great!
Here they are:
Then I also love the Kerastase ultra shine top coat – the official name is Vernis Nutri-Sculpt. I bought this in Vegas a few years ago and it isn’t too greasy like the Biolage one I had used before. The spray is very fine and I could probably spray it right on my hair but the Biolage one had taught me to spray my hands and then rub my hair down (one squirt of the Biolage on your roots could make you look like you hadn’t bathed in days!)
Here is the Kerastase shine spray:
I also tried the Kerastase Bain Satin shampoo and treatment mask conditioner that year in Vegas but I really didn’t love it and the stuff isn’t cheap. Then last year I decided to try a different one – the color Kerastase Bain Miroir and I really didn’t love that one either.
More reviews later!
