My mom has several sets of china – I’m not sure why. But she likes all of them and when we got married I asked for one set (my favorite blue set) and she instead offered me the “fruit” set as I call it. Blue is definitely my favorite color – all shades. And the fruit one had no blue. Even though it was fine china it looked like everyday dinnerware and I wasn’t very fond of it. So I registered for Lenox’s Jewels Sapphire and it is SO pretty:
But I suppose I am more and more like my mom than I think because I want another set of china. I love the Lenox Chirp collection right now. It is the blue one with the birds on the left here:
The top one is very Pucci looking and I love the yellow plate. It is actually the Missoni Home collection’s Margherita.
The second one from the bottom is Faience’s Jacinthe and I love the creamer – if it was a pitcher instead I would want it!
I also love the bottom one – I have a thing for Cardinals and although that isn’t a Cardinal on the Villeroy and Boch’s New Wave Acapulco I still like it since it is similar. But the cup and saucer are just a little too weird:
Here are some other fun ones:
I also love the mosaic looking one in the middle – Syracuse by Robert Haviland.
And the coolest thing I’ve found yet? A cake matching the Lenox Chirp china:
