We had an all day dog shoot yesterday at The Doggie Art Festival in Winter Park. Goblin wasn’t too left out. Although he couldn’t go to the festival with us, he was able to hang out all day with our neighbors and their dog Foxy. Foxy really likes Goblin (she is a a cute younger dog – a Ridgeback!) and Goblin is a bit of a cranky old man that doesn’t know how lucky he is to have a girl like Foxy!
When we get home from dog shoots we have a ritual that involves downloading, backing up and ordering pizza! Since it was a gorgeous night we sat outside and enjoyed our pizza as the sun started to set. The golden afternoon sun was hitting Goblin just right and I had to grab my camera and take a few photos of him.
A closeup of his tag – his name is “Goblin” after all and he is a bit spooked by everything so this tag fits his personality:
Two of the little dogs (Martini and Houston) had a special trick yesterday – they could pose on their back feet with their paws up in the air. So we decided to see if Goblin could do this trick with a little help from some pizza crust:
He was not as graceful but we can work on this trick!
Then I asked Chris if I could hand him the camera and have him take a few photos of me with the G-man.
I was trying to copy his paws crossed and watching for people and other dogs look:
A nice posed one:
Goblin’s ears don’t perk up like this – I must have been roughing him up a bit with my hand!
