Kirk and Patty's 50th Anniversary Cruise: Nassau, Bahamas

The last time we took a cruise that stopped in the Bahamas, we stayed on the ship and lounged by the pool all day. This time, we decided we wanted to walk around Atlantis and see all of the big yachts. We were hoping to see some really big catamarans, but since it was summer, the marina was quite empty. We will have to come back in the winter!

We did see this really big yacht named Grey Matters and the "a" in Matters looked like a brain. Clever! I'm guessing the owner is a brain surgeon.

We walked around a little bit of the inside of Atlantis:

This building was still decorated for Independence Day in the Bahamas and I thought it was pretty:

We had four big cruise ships in port in Nassau:

We had some nice portraits taken by the ship's photographers that night:
