Since we live in Orlando we never really have a need for a fireplace, in fact we only run our heat about two days a year, but on our trip to Gatlinburg we had a fireplace in our cabin and it was awesome! We lit a fire every night which absolutely fascinated Duke.
And you could tell that our dogs were from Florida because they didn't mind the heat from the fire at all.
