Tropical Storm Fay

This storm is really funny - the media is freaking everyone out.  Schools have been closed in Orange County nearly all week and all we had was a little rain and wind. They keep talking about how bad the flooding is - but I looked up three roads where they were featured in the media as having been flooded - ALL three were in existing flood zones according to FEMA!  Well of course they are flooded if they are in flood zones and we are getting rain.  Then I don't get why everyone thinks it is fun to wade, swim, paddle, whatever through the flood water.  I saw a photo on Orlando Sentinel's website of a woman walking her very young child through the flooded water.  People complain about the amoebas in local lakes - but hey lets go walk in the flood water - since you know all of the septic tanks below us are well sealed and all....ick!
